Once the restaurants closed, due to the pandemic, it was either takeout every day or learn how to cook my favorite entrees, from some of my favorite restaurants. I’ve cooked everything from beet burgers to Berber Merguez. While it was rewarding to reunite with the most delicious meals a foodie could ever eat, I was also enlightened about the ingredients. Many of the recipes had all the primary staples…butter, sugar, salt, cheese, artificial this, artificial that. Or, I found recipes that had spices that weren’t readily available in the local grocery stores. At that point, I’d grown tired of takeout and more conscious of what I was eating. I still had to eat Something, right? Sooo, I researched seasonings and spices that could replace salt, nourishing to the body and flavorful. I studied and experimented which spices complement each other. My research introduced me to so many different spices and before you know it....I had created my own line of spices. I personally, hand-blended each of these spices to bring any dish to life. There’s spices for fish, vegetables, chicken, meat, soups and the list go on! Jean Conley International Spices are a rare find. You won’t be disappointed!!
